“California Streaming” Apple event today announced the iPhone 13 series, which consists of three models: the iPhone 13 mini, the iPhone 13, the iPhone 13 Pro and Max/ Some of the new flagships include a better chipset and a smaller notch as well as a new display.
There is a difference in size between the iPhone 13 mini and the iPhone 13.
Aside from a few cosmetic differences, there are a lot of improvements inside the new iPhone 13 series. In addition to the ceramic shield on the front, it has a sleek, flat appearance. It’s still IP68 dust and water resistant.
The display’s outdoor brightness is 27 % brighter, and the maximum brightness can reach 1200 nits. Additionally, it supports HDR 10 and Dolby Vision, along with HLG. There is a 20-percent reduction in the size of the notch as well.
In terms of performance, it’s equipped with the brand new A15 Bionic chipset, which is still built on the 5nm process. It offers graphics that are 30% quicker and a 6-core CPU with two high-performance and four high-efficiency cores. 16.8 trillion operations per second can be performed by the neural engine’s 16 cores. More network bands are supported by the new iPhone 13 Series, as well as more carriers.
There is a tiny difference between the iPhone 13 and the iPhone 13 mini in terms of the camera placement, which is now diagonally on the back. In terms of the camera sensor, it has a 12MP main sensor and a 12MP ultrawide sensor, but no LiDAR. SensorShift OIS is now supported by the new camera sensors. More light is captured by the improved camera system, resulting in superior low-light photographs. Photographs are also captured in a shorter amount of time thanks to the camera.
While the iPhone 13 mini’s battery life will be 2.5 hours longer than that of the iPhone 12 series, the iPhone 13’s battery life will be 1.5 hours longer. The new chip will likely help increase battery life since it is currently unclear if the devices have a larger battery built-in.
The iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13 will be available in Pink, Blue, Midnight, Starlight, and Product RED color options. For $699, the iPhone 13 small will be available, while the iPhone 13 will cost $799 when it launches on September 21st. Both smartphones now come with 128GB of storage as standard.
