Social Media Manager Job description

Responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy and Execution: Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Define most important social media KPIs.
  • Manage and oversee social media content.
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.

Content Creation and Management:

  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written).
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.
  • Write and optimize social media posts for each platform to ensure high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.

Community Engagement:

  • Develop and manage social media campaigns that engage current and prospective customers.
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor customer reviews.
  • Foster and manage online reviews and reputation.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Analyze social media campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor data and determine efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvement.
  • Prepare monthly reports on social media marketing efforts.
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.

Marketing Support:

  • Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers.
  • Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media.
  • Launch optimized online adverts through Google Adwords, Facebook, etc. to increase company and brand awareness.
  • Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update website.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist.
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
  • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO, and SEO.
  • Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels.
  • Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
  • Fluency in English.
