Microsoft announced the new Windows 11 last week, and today Microsoft released Windows 11 first Preview build. This new insider build will include a new Start menu, multitasking features, and a completely redesigned Windows Store. This insider update will be including a newly redesigned File Explorer that replaces the old ribbon bar with a new command bar.
Most of the features that Microsoft announced on Windows Event last week will be available in this preview build. The new taskbar with centered icons, Windows 11 also includes a brand new widget panel, rounded corners throughout the OS, and Microsoft made some improvements to the Notifications center. Windows 11 lock screen will be different than Windows 10’s lock screen.
The new Dark Mode will also be a part of this windows 11 insider build. This build will include all of the dark and light themes.
Some of the big features still will be missing from this Insider Build of Windows 11, Microsoft Teams integration to the OS and ability to run Android Apps on Windows, these features will not include with this Insider Build.
The Settings app is also redesigned. This Insider Build will include some changes to the settings app to navigate easier to find the right settings that you need.
Microsoft will also be releasing a preview of its new Office package alongside Windows 11. This new Office package will also include rounded corners to match with the Windows 11 UI.
If you wanted to try this preview build of Windows 11 you need to be in the Windows Insiders program. Then go to your Settings > Update and Security > Windows Insider Program on Windows 10 device and enable the Dev Channel and get the Windows 11 Insider Builds.
You need a Windows 11 Compatible machine to run this Build, you can check if your PC can run Windows 11 or Not by using Microsoft’s PC Health Check App.
