“California Streaming” by Apple started with a punch. First, Apple began showcasing new media content that will be available on Apple TV+ in the starting later this month. After the announcement of the new iPad gen-9 and updated iPad mini 6, things got even better for Apple.
Apple has officially updated the iPad mini with a new look and feel. In terms of design, this latest iteration is really the biggest upgrade yet. With an all-screen design, the new iPad mini 6 comes in a variety of colors including purple and pink as well as space gray and starlight. Along with True Tone and 500 nits of brightness, the new 8.3-inch Liquid Retina Display also offers a wide color gamut for a stunning viewing experience.
Even if the Home button has been removed, Touch ID is still available on the power button. In addition, the volume buttons have been moved to the top of the device’s frame, rather than on the right, as in previous iPad versions. This is a significant shift.
In terms of performance, the new iPad mini 6 boasts a 40 percent increase in performance, an 80 percent increase in GPU performance, and a 2X faster Neural Engine than its predecessor. As a result, one of my favorite innovations is Apple’s decision to discard the Lightning connector in favor of the USB-C connector, which is ten times quicker than the Lightning connector. We’ll also have 5G support, which means you’ll be able to stay connected no matter where you are.
The new iPad mini 6 includes a 12MP ultrawide camera that also supports Center Stage, which is a welcome enhancement. As an added bonus, you’ll get a new Internet Service Provider (ISP), enhanced HDR, 4K video recording, etc. With stereo speakers in landscape mode and compatibility with slim smart folio covers as well as the second generation Apple Pencil, the audio quality has been improved significantly. In terms of value for money, this new iPad mini 6 will start at $499. As of next week, it will be available for purchase.
