OnePlus 9 series will get 2 years of warranty

OnePlus’s CEO Pete Lau announced that the new OnePlus 9 series will come with a two year warranty, while most other smartphone manufacturers only offer one year warranty. Some regions (European Union) already offer 2 year warranty for all the electronics, but most of the countries does not.

OnePlus looked at surveys and they found out most of their users keep their phones for like 2 years before an upgrade. And this 2 year of warranty will cover your any hardware faults without any extra cost.


And for the software, OnePlus promises 2 years of OS updates and an extra year of security patches. And this means that the OnePlus 9 Series will have full support until 2023.

The new OnePlus 9 series will be released on March 23rd. And it’ll also come with a warp charger in the box. And this all 2 years of warranty and comes with the charger means that OnePlus is listening to their feedback and its community.
