OnePlus is going back to where it all began. Merges further into OPPO

OnePlus CEO, Pete Lau just announced that they are merging with OPPO again. A recent post by Pete Lau on the OnePlus Community Forums confirms that OnePlus is integrating with OPPO furthermore to deliver a good service to its customers.

 “As many of you know, last year I took on some additional responsibilities to oversee product strategy for both OnePlus and OPPO. Since then, we have integrated a number of our teams together with OPPO to better streamline our operations and capitalize on additional shared resources. After seeing positive impact from those changes, we’ve decided to further integrate our organization with OPPO.”

according to the Lau’s statement, now OnePlus and OPPO shares the same R&D team, and this statement also reveals that OnePlus and OPPO have much in common.

Lau also said that OnePlus will continue to operate independently.  He also said that this integration with the OPPO will help OnePlus to deliver software update constantly than before, because now they have more resources thanks to this integration with OPPO.

“With this deeper integration with OPPO, we will have more resources at hand to create even better products for you. It will also allow us to be more efficient, for example, bringing faster and more stable software updates for OnePlus users.”
