Qualcomm teams up with ASUS to make a Phone for Snapdragon Insiders

Mobile chip maker Qualcomm teamed up with Asus to make a smartphone to show off some of the latter’s mobile tech. This phone is apparently only available for 1.6 million of snapdragon insider program members. This phone will be released around the august of this year.

This smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 888 5G chipset, it has a 2.5GHz octa-core processor and an Arduino 660 GPU. according to the Snapdragon, this phone will support all the 5G sub-6 and mmWave bands. This phone also supports Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E with up to 3.5Gbps speed. The Snapdragon smartphone also has 16GB of ram and 512GB of storage.

The Snapdragon Smartphone will feature a Samsung OLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, so you can game on this phone really smoothly like other high-end gaming phones. The display also gets a peak brightness of 1200 nits and it’s HDR 10 and  HDR 10+ certified. The phone has a triple camera system on the back: a 64MP main camera, a 12MP Ultrawide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera. This device can record 8K videos and it also has a 24MP front camera with an AI auto-zoom feature.

This is the first Smartphone to have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Sound System. This Snapdragon Sound system has features like low BlueTooth latency, active noise cancellation, and high-res audio support up to 24 bit – 96kHz. The phone also comes with Master & Dynamic true wireless earbuds with ANC support. The Smartphone will cost around $1500.
