These are the major things that Apple announced at the Unleashed Event

Apple has just completed its October 2021 event, which was packed with corporate news and announcements, including the long-awaited M1-equipped MacBook Pros. There was a lot of news, so if you want to catch up on the most important items from the event, check out our compilation right here.

APPLE HAS ANNOUNCED TWO NEW COMPLETELY REDESIGNED MACBOOK PRO MODELS.

Apple unveiled a new lineup of MacBook Pros in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes. The Touch Bar has been replaced by a full-size function row in its place. There are several ports that have been restored, including an HDMI port, three Thunderbolt connectors, an SD card slot, a headphone jack, and the restoration of the MagSafe charger. New MacBook Pros will also be getting rid of the touch bar for The New Apple Magic Keyboard. The 14-inch model costs $1,999, and the 16-inch model costs $2,499. They will be available for preorder on Monday, ahead of their release next week.

THE NEW MACBOOK PROS DESIGNS ALSO HAVE A NOTCH.

The notch design from the iPhone has been carried over to the new MacBook Pros, however, it holds an upgraded 1080p FaceTime camera. But don’t worry the new menu bar on the top will cover the notch according to Apple.

APPLE REVEALED TWO NEW POWERFUL CUSTOM CHIPS: THE M1 PRO AND THE M1 MAX

Apple has unveiled its next two custom CPUs, the M1 Pro, and M1 Max. They appear to be big semiconductors, with Apple claiming that the Pro has more than 33 billion transistors and the Max has 57 billion transistors. Apple also claims that these new chips are much more efficient and powerful than it’s predecessor the Original Apple M1.

PROMOTION AND MINI LED TECHNOLOGY ARE FINALLY AVAILABLE FOR MACBOOK PROS

Apple’s latest MacBook Pros feature ProMotion, the company’s adaptive refresh rate technology that can achieve refresh rates of up to 120Hz. Like the 2021 12.9-inch iPad Pro, they’re also lit by Mini LEDs.

MAGSAFE IS BACK ON THE NEW MACBOOK PROS.

With the new MacBook Pros, Apple’s famed MagSafe magnetic charger returns. MagSafe 3 is the name given by Apple. According to Apple, the new Macs can charge up to 50% in 30 minutes.

THE NEXT GENERATION OF APPLE AIRPODS WILL HAVE SPATIAL AUDIO AND AIRPOD PRO-LIKE DESIGN.

Apple has released an updated version of its famous AirPods headphones. They resemble the AirPods Pro, however, they lack replaceable tips. The new headphones provide spatial audio support and are sweat and water-resistant. They will be available next week if you preorder them for $179 on Monday.

THE HOMEPOD MINI WILL BE AVAILABLE SOON IN YELLOW, ORANGE, AND BLUE.

Apple is expanding the color palette of the HomePod Mini, which will now be available in yellow, orange, and blue. Starting in November, they’ll be available for the same $99 price.

APPLE ANNOUNCES A NEW $4.99 MONTHLY APPLE MUSIC VOICE PLAN

Apple has introduced a new Apple Music Voice Plan, which allows you to access Apple Music using Siri. It will cost $4.99 a month and will be available in 17 countries later this fall.
