Visa the world’s largest payments company, has created an NFT business development education program.

The year-long effort is geared toward artists, singers, fashion designers, and filmmakers.

Cu Sheffield, Visa’s head of crypto, said the company wants to learn more about the opportunities and constraints that creators face, as well as the role that NFTs can play in monetizing their work.

In the end, the program will aid Visa in expanding its commercial NFT offerings.

Visa has yet to decide how many authors it will teach under this program. Sheffield, on the other hand, intends the group to be small in order to foster community and technical mentorship.

Authors who are interested will be required to complete a questionnaire and participate in a personal interview.

Authors will also get a one-time compensation from Visa. Its exact size is unknown.

The corporation announced the formation of a new consulting segment focused on cryptocurrency in December.

The company also creates items for stablecoins and CBDCs.
