- Check the autofill settings.
Review your autofill settings. Chrome fills in three types of data for you: passwords, payment methods, and addresses. It’s a good idea to double-check that Autofill is set up correctly for any or all of them.
To begin, go to the Chrome menu. After that, click Settings to open the Chrome Settings window.
The Autofill section should then appear in the middle of the screen, complete with the three categories.
If you can’t find it, go to the left-side navigation area and click Autofill (available only on desktops) to bring the section into focus.
- Check your sync options.
Select “Activate sync” from the profile menu icon in the upper right corner of your browser. Select the option to Manage What You Synchronize.
Make sure the toggles next to Passwords, Addresses, Phone Numbers, and Other Information, as well as payment methods and addresses that accept Google Pay, are turned on.
- Delete the navigation information.
